I have an HP envy printer 4500. It is right next to the router and making signals as it is trying to connect to the router but cannot. The wireless network test result came back saying If MAC address filtering is enabled and you would like to keep it enabled, you must add the MAC address of your printer (available in the Test Report) to the list of permitted devices for your wireless router before continuing. I do not know what this means can anyone help please?

@EagleSpring your printer is quite old now and only operates on the 2.4GHz wireless band, whereas your EE router combines 2.4 and 5GHz bands.

If you log into the router, go to the advanced wireless section, you can turn the 5GHz band off to allow the printer to connect. Once connected turn the 5GHz back on.

Alternatively, your router should have a compatibility mode which you can turn on, again look in the advanced wireless section of the router.
