Wifi Drops Out - Online Gaming Same House

My flatmate and I recently signed up for EEs fiber package. One thing that has started happening is when we play online games together our pings will spike and crash the internet for both of us. Its incredibly frustrating and happens constantly whenever we try to play an online game together. Think it might be an issue with the UPnP and the routers inability to handle two devices connecting to it at once but we've tried everything bar getting a new router.

Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your connection when you're both gaming. Have you spoken with our technical team about this at all?

Hi Rach no I haven’t.

but from what I understand it will be an issue with the smarting router supplied. It has a known issue with UPnP

I'd recommend giving them a call as they would be able to check this issue and see if that's the best course of action to take and if needed, arrange that.
