There are myriad threads round these parts that suggests UPnP is not working on the newer Smart Hub Plus/Pro devices, so my recommendation there would be to save yourself the hassle and wait for it to be fixed in an update.

In the meantime, you could try using port forwarding/DMZ instead.

As to why your broadband connection has dropped, I'm unsure. Would be good to know the status of the LEDs etc. as @Peter_W has asked. Assume you've tried factory resetting the hub by inserting something into the reset pinhole at the rear until the status LED goes green?

UPnP was not working on my Xbox series x, I tried to reset my modem and router with the UPnP turned off to reset it. Now my router won’t connect to the broadband. I live in Torquay, Devon. Is anyone else having service issues, currently, in this area?

Hey @JoshGord02 😊

Welcome to the EE Community!

Since doing this reset have you tried switching UPnP back on?

Also are all of the lights on your router showing as they should be, and if you have full fibre do things look good with the Openreach modem (ONT) too?
