Contacting sales team about full fibre

Happy Easter everyone! A couple of weeks ago someone from EE called at my house and told my wife full fibre broadband was coming.

Unfortunately I wasn’t available; the chap said he’d come back but he never has…

When I check my postcode on the EE site, only standard FTTC packages the same as I have now are coming up.

Are there any suggestions about which team at EE could help? I know regular sales teams will likely only have the same info I can access publicly.

There’s nothing on the Openreach site indicating that full fibre is coming soon either.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

FTTP (Full Fibre) is not available there currently & if there's nowt on the OR site you checked then there won't be for the foreseeable future.

I had an issue recently where that report showed FTTP wasn't available in my street yet my neighbour had it installed. (I spoke to the engineer). My neighbours report showed differently so.... I pursued the issue because I was being given all sorts of dubious information and apparently there was some confusion on my account between BT/EE/Open Reach. My installation is in progress, so it might be worth asking again.

@Oxfordblue Are you sure it was EE and not some Altnet provider or scammer, if you go to the link below, you can register interest and OR will keep you or at least e-mail you when and if available, then you just got to wait on the ISP's catching up to get there side up and running.

I am told he was wearing EE branded clothing. However, someone in a local community Facebook group responded to my post and told me that when he produced the paperwork it talked about “part fibre” not full fibre. So, my conclusion is that it was just another lying salesman.

@Oxfordblue Full Fibre is coming, may not be everywhere may not hit your address, another Altnet may jump in, and OR (Openreach) may decide not worth it, loads off different scenarios can happen, EE Clothing somewhere there is an ACTUAL response from EE about it on there actual help site, etc....

Depending on the area door-to-door sales can sometimes be conducted by EE themselves, but more commonly by their partner Money Expert.
