I've recently changed from BT hub (which worked fine) to EE hub and now have problems with security cameras. Specifically with a Panasonic Home Network security system. I've tried to connect under UPnP which is switched on in the EE hub, though the Panasonic mobile app says it probably isn't. Or trying to set up Port Forwarding doesn't so far work either. I can only connect through the EE hub in my house, not remotely. It just worked with the former BT hub. (I seem to have similar issues with a new wireless ADT system - for the moment that's their problem to sort out).

If you can, use the BT Router, they may want it back, but you could speak to CS and arrange to keep it.

Why do you think you need Port Forwarding or UPnP? Panasonic System Setup Guide Home Network System HUB makes no reference to them as a requirement. I can successfully view remotely my security cameras which are an EE FF BB connection w/out the need for Port Forwarding.

If you are trying Port Forwarding what ports are you attempting to forward?

I didn't think I did need it - and I am no way an IT expert. As above, connections work fine at home when connecting direct to EE hub, but never connects when mobile is remote from home. I simply followed this advice from Panasonic to set up port forwarding as an alternative to relying on UPnP, but still can't get a remote connection.

https://help.na.panasonic.com/answers/how-to-configure-the-port-forwarding-settings-with-the-home-network-app/#:~:text=Select%20Manual%20%28Static%29%20and%20input%20the%20numbers%20of,router%27s%20port%20forwarding%20feature%20to%20forward%20desired%20port.

You haven't pressed the '+' & Saved. They should then appear with a red "X" against them for when you want to remove them again.

I also think you shouldn't be leaving 1001 ports open but instead do 3 rules of 1 port each.

OK, I did the save correctly but still no luck. One thing I did notice is that once I switch on the Port Forwarding and Static Address in the mobile Panasonic app the Panasonic hub disappears from the list of connected devices in the EE Hub manager, though it still shows as connected in the Pan.mobile app - and does connect directly through the EE hub. But still won't connect remotely.
