topic Wireless and corded phones for hard of hearing seniors in Broadband & Landline

I look after my nan and grandads phone and broadband bill as I work from here on occasion. They have wireless phones that do work however they are so quite and they are both hard of hearing and now due to the digital voice requirement their larger phone with the big buttons and better speaker isn't compatible. Has anyone got any suggestions or links to both new wireless and corded hand sets? (Corded preferred with big numbers!)

The Home Services above, Digital Home Phone has video and help should you also wish to take a look at the Pinned post....

What your Digital Voice
Adapter light means
1 On initial plug in – flashes 0.5 seconds on,
2 seconds off
2 During registration – flashes quickly
0.5 seconds on, 0.5 seconds off
3 Once registered – stays solid green
4 During a call – flashes slowly 1 second on,
1 second off
5 Once registered, if there’s a connection
problem with your broadband – flashes
0.5 seconds on and 2 seconds off.
Maximum Digital
Voice devices
You can register a maximum of 5 Digital Voice
devices (that includes Digital Voice Handsets
or Digital Voice Adapters) to your new Hub at
one time

Thanks both for the advice. Unfortunately, the secondary phone is only available to be plugged in via an ethernet cable and there aren't any plugs.

The wireless phones are more for the fact that they are so quiet on sound. It's up to the maximum and even I struggle!

@Imo13 When you say secondary phone, it may just be that it has the wrong cable end to it, you get different types so either adapter to change it, or get the required cable to match your requirements.

Some phones come with small RJ11 to RJ11 instead off the RJ11 to BT style phone connection, adapters and cables are available. RJ11 looks like a small ethernet connection with either 4 or 6 pins on it, but only 2 off them are used. Quick page to look at link below.

Amazon.co.uk : phone line adaptor

Amazon.co.uk : big button phones
