      <title>My Wi-Fi has become unbearably slow since yesterday</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have 1Gb speeds to the Smart Pro hub, and I have 2 Smart Extenders. &amp;nbsp;Everything has been great for the last few months, until today.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was getting 500-600Mbps on my iPhone and other devices in the rooms where the extenders are located. &amp;nbsp;Today, one of my extenders has gone from a solid Aqua light to Amber, and on both I am only getting 70-100Mbps. &amp;nbsp;This is making large downloads pretty painful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried re-booting the router and the extenders, but no change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone got any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Is it a solid amber light or a flashing one you've noticed on your Smart WiFi device?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Solid would usually indicate that it's connected, but could do with being moved closer to your Hub to guarantee the best connection.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Flashing on the other hand means that you'll need to re-pair with your hub via the WPS button or an Ethernet cable.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It’s a solid amber that has always been solid aqua until yesterday. Just a symptom of a general downturn. Even in rooms with a solid aqua extender speeds are down to about 70Mbps when they were 500-600 before yesterday.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Something has happened.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The exact same has happened to me, I have three extenders all were aqua was get around 400 to 480 every in the house and about 280 in the garden, now I get amber light and around 120mb,&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;if recycle my WiFi connection on my phone &amp;nbsp;to connect to the main hub &amp;nbsp;and stand by it I get I get the as expected 500mb&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;They were great for a week or with Stella speeds. It’s like there has been &amp;nbsp;some smart setting applied and messed it up.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I also have one extender with a different &amp;nbsp;firmware version that won’t update &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":pensive_face:"&gt;😔&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am getting very good speeds on my phone, i.e. 700-800Mbps, if I stand very close to router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both extenders speeds still stuck around 100, when used to be 500-600 for both previously.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It definitely sounds like it's the extenders causing the rub here in that case.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I can't really move it any closer and keep it in the same room.&amp;nbsp; I think what concerns me is that I feel it is symptomatic of the issue that the extender is in the exact same location it has been solid aqua for many months.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did re-pair the 2 extenders yesterday, but at the time it made no difference.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;We definitely can't rule out the possibility of a fault with the device, especially the one that's showing the orange light.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It's definitely worth giving our &lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee/account-billing/broadband-landline" target="_blank"&gt;Technical Guides&lt;/A&gt; a call, as they'll be able to run more specific diagnostics, and if needs be arrange a replacement.&lt;/P&gt;
