Moving before bt fiber Internet installed

I have fiber being installed this week with bt , but moving to ee looks like a good idea , I don't wana affect the install but wana switch to ee , should I wait for install ? Does the contract 24months matter when switching ?

@Craigst1 you would need to give BT a call to see if it was possible, but why do you want to move at such a late stage?

You would be able to do it as soon as it's installed, but you may not be able to get the same deal and might have to go up a tier to the next speed.

You have a 14 day change of mind period after install with your BT anyways so could always cancel and reorder with EE.

Just a bit of waiting around and possibly some time offline if you follow the change of mind route.

i was hoping it was early i ordered a new install last week and dont yet have fibre at all so i was hoping this would be early enough thought i could switch within a week , will i get unlimited data on my ee number if im with them , 3 months free and can get game pass , thats the reason i would want to switch

thanks yea my account for bt aint active to switch online , i have starlink so ill keep that will its all done and dusted yea switch to EE i would get the more expensive that what i have ordered with BT , i just stuck with who i know

If you give BT a call, they will go through your options with you and let you know when you can transfer to EE.
