Yep. Look at the link above on Amazon. I bought one of them. Plugged the Ethernet cable from my ee router into the switch. Then a Ethernet cable from the switch to the ps5 (you have to plug the switch into a socket as well for power) and it’s worked flawlessly since.

Hello. Recently migrated over from BT when my contract was up. Now with EE and using their smart hub.

My PS5 has all the correct features enabled and this worked no problem with the BT hub. But now when I start up my PS5 from rest mode it’s not connected to the internet and takes a min or 2 to connect.

This means I can’t download anything when it’s off and there is no auto update as it’s not connected to the internet when put in rest mode.

I have checked and re checked everything on the PS5. Removed the connection and re enabled it. Power cycled it. Tried it via WiFi and Ethernet cable.

I have reset my router. Used different port. I have given the PS5 a static ip. Nothing works. When connected there is no issue with the speed, it just disconnects when put in rest mode when it should not.

The issue is only since I have changed over from BT equipment. I am certain the issue is not the PS5. Any advice?

You could go back and use the BT Router, or you could try an ethernet switch between the router and the PS5.

Hello. I have the smart hub plus. And I had to sent back my BT router. Why would a switch help? Thanks for your reply.

Hi. My PS5 is doing the same, ever since I switched to EE. Did this really work? Is it straight forward to do? Is it a case of connecting the router to the switch and then the switch to the PS5 with ethernet cables?
