Yes. For the pwd use HQNPASS followed by the digits in the username. My old such EE username/pwd still works on any router but a modern EE router.

Hi

I have bought a tp link be550/be9300 wifi 7 router and when trying to setup as replacement of the ee smarthub router I am unable to get the Internet connection to work. I have connected my new tp link router from wan port to the wan port of the ONT (Photographed). My main question is, should this work without the presence of the EE smarthub if I can obtain the correct PPPoE username and password?. I havecfound what I think is my username from hunting around in the settings for the ee smarthub and this is (some info started out for security) PRODUCTION**N**520***320@fs. The password is starred out and is 8 characters/digits long and I can't view this. Will customer service be able to provide this to me if I call them in hours and does it sound like this should work correctly then? Does this username seem to be the correct one? (

For info FTTP 1gb EE subscription.)
