That's right! FTTP is not available there & it is not a priority exchange for it. Have a look at Openreach Fibre Checker to see what plans they have for it, if any.

Your neighbour's availability table will contain a line for:

WBC FTTP

& probably a diff cab.

I am struggling to get a proper answer from the 'Guides' so think I need to escalate the problems I've been having with EE but I cannot see on their website how to speak to or email someone about the mixed messages I'm getting from them.

I have been promised a 'free' upgrade to Full Fibre (FTTP) and a couple of weeks ago my neighbour had it installed by 'Open Reach' I spoke to the engineer who confirmed that was what he was doing so phoned EE to ask for mine to be done. The person could not tell me & promised to get back to me - she didn't phone! BUT a couple of days later I had a letter correctly addressed to me inviting me to "Upgrade today" by scanning a QR code or phone. I naturally thought she had sent a letter rather than phone me.

I have just phoned & spoken to a guide (after waiting half an hour) who told me it wasn't available yet!!!! When I asked why not, he tried to shift the blame to Open Reach. I understand they are not yet co-ordinated but the complete lack of any accountability is driving me mad! The person I spoke to suggested the way to take it further was look on the Website for the complaints section but I cannot find it so thought I'd ask on here please. An email address would be good if not a phone number.

Thank you

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Thank you XRaySpeX

According to Open Reach on the link you kindly provided it IS available. The cabinet number is the same for both premises.

I begin to realise I have strayed into the EE area of "Let's not bother with existing customers.
