Set Up of Netgear RS300 Router

Hi there i decided to buy a aftermarket Netgear nighthawk RS300 router for gaming as i did not want reset my broadband contract for another 24 months just to Pay £10 a month for a Wifi 7 router. Do i need any settings jotted down off my current EE router for it to work, like settings for a PPPoE connection, only reason why i ask as i had tried to google it and the PPPoE login settings are mentioned, i am not famillier with this, i can pick up on things quickly though if told what to do.....or are these routers simply plug and play nowadays? As the product mentions netgear have a setup app to connect when you set it up.

Ideally i did not want to ring up customer service if i do not need to, also i would like to mention i have FTTP so maybe setting it up maybe a little different?

Any help would be fantastic from your personal experiences, especially gamers as i so got this router for that reason. Thanks in advance.

@Johngking : In Using & Configuring a Third Party Router you'll find everything you need to set up your router incl. the BB PPPoE creds. which are now the same as BT's.

Hi there sorry for a slow reply, it is all set up however i am only getting IPV4 on devices, when i go to the IPV6 settings it asks if i am to use the same login settings for the IPV4 however it comes up with in the IPV6 (routers IP address on WAN is not available)

Previously when using EE smart hub plus router i had both IPV4 and 6 through devices e.g xbox etc, however everything is connect and get fantastic speed and no errors, does having IPV6 matter? See attached photos for IPV4 and 6 settings.
