We're with BT at the ripoff price of £50 per month. EE advertise clearly on TV, and on their website, you can switch, they'll pay the termination up tp £300, at £25.99.

I signed up, only to find they send us back to BT and offer a 2 year contract still at £50 per month. There doesn't appear to be a real offer for us at £25.99.

my BTcontact expires in May, then it'll be goodbye never to return.

You should be asking BT to move you to EE, not signing up with EE directly. BT want all domestic BB custs to be transferred to EE.

As BT & EE are part of the same family, you would have to see out the remainder of your BT contract if you want to drop in price when moving across. That offer is very real, but only for those who are nearing the end of their contracts within BT and EE and those who are happy to buy out contracts from other providers.

A mid contract transfer from BT to EE would make you maintain the same monthly cost or higher and renew for 2 years, and buyout offers such as above cannot be used to pay ETCs for companies within the BT Group (BT, EE, Plusnet etc).

When your contract expires, or you're in your last 30 days, you should be eligible for whatever the offer is at that time.
