Depending on what is available for your property the will install a single connection which then is connected to the router.

Have a look at this guide from Openreach https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/full-fibre-broadband-installation-checklist

They also have a checker to see if fibre is available, or if not what speeds you may get https://www.openreach.com/

Hello everyone, I am thinking of moving from Virgin to EE Broadband and TV. I need your help in figuring out how complex the switch over going to be. The virgin's external box splits the incoming cable into two output cables, one comes straight to outside of my home office which is upstairs and through a drilled hole in the wall connects to the router and the WI-FI mesh. The other cable goes to the back of the house (on the outside of the building) and though a drilled hole in the wall to the TV box in the sitting room. No messy Ethernet or TV cables trailing though the house or up and down the stairs.

Can the EE/Openreach installers manage an arrangement like this or at least install their boxes where it is convenient for us. I would like to avoid running cables through the house.

Please advise how you found the installation process.

Many thanks.

There are no holes drilled thro' outside walls for EE TV. It is fed from the router. Depending on what type of BB you can get there a hole is drilled for Full Fibre BB.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Thanks. This is what the availability checker says. The feed will come from a pole, so you need to have a look for it and work out if that leads to a location on the property that works for you.

Yes, you can get Full Fibre, the fastest type of BB available. A single hole is drilled thro' an outer wall to a ONT modem box fixed to the inner wall.

Look at EE BB Deals to see what speeds of FF are available from EE.
