topic Upgrading BT hub in Broadband & Landline

Hello. I've been a BT broadband customer since the 90s through several addresses.

The broadband speed at my rural address is slower than in previous years and there are no current plans to upgrade the lines. There is no EE mobile coverage in my area either.

I'm half way through a 24 month broadband contract and am still using BT Smart hub 2 with a number of black spots in the house. Am I eligible for a complimentary newer EE branded router and are they better performing in terms of WiFi coverage?

Thank you in anticipation.
