You may get the basic 900 service for £42.99 in some areas, but not the full works.

As with any contract you agree to, it is wise to study the details before you agree to it, not 6 months after. Deals and offers can change, but getting the basic understanding of what you are getting is vital.

I like a lot of people switched from BT to EE operated Broadband after the "takeover".

I got a 24 month contract in Oct for Full Fibre, Full works for approx £85 per month with a few added extras (calls etc.) which took it to £102 p.m. I stupidly presumed this included my line rental even though our home phones are digital.

For a while now, since pre christmas i've noticed the prices offered for BB to be a lot cheaper. In fact the Full Fibre Full works (700mbps guaranteed) is actually around the £40 mark!.

I phoned up EE to query this and see if anything could be done but was informed I was tied in to the contract and as I hadn't cancelled within 2 weeks of taking it out I would need to pay a cancellation fee of around £1200.

This is absolutely ridiculous, is anybody else being ripped off as much as this.
