&lt;P&gt;Using that method is likley to&amp;nbsp; cause you future problems especially if you also have a telephone service and have call charges. Also as your bill will vary each year you would have to ensure you made adjustments in time for the increase.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>I set up a Standing order</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been using EE Broadband for 3/4 months now the first month I paid over the phone and thought it easier to set up a monthly £29.99 standing order&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Twice now I've received letters saying because no payments have been made a extra £7.50 a month late fees have been added&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I emailed screenshot of proof I've paid but to date I'm waiting for a response&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And still the letters come&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":thinking_face:"&gt;🤔&lt;/span&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;A href="https://ee.co.uk/help/billing-payments/payment-methods/change-my-payment-method" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Change how you pay for your EE Broadband&lt;/A&gt; . So there is no reason why a S.O. on that bank a/c should not work.&lt;/DIV&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Late Payment Charge - If you don't pay your bill by Direct Debit or Recurring Card Payment and your payment is made late (more than 15 days after your&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;bill date), we'll charge you a £7.50 fee. This charge will be applied to your next bill and then again for each subsequent late payment. Realy not sure why you don't get it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

It's not difficult to time a S.O. to be on the billing date to avoid late payment. You have plenty of leeway. In most cases the payment would be same thro'out the year with plenty of time to revise it for the annual increase or any other known change.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
