I had same problem after the latest firmware update.

Im using EE WiFi 7 pro hub and after the latest update my cameras and a few appliances lost WiFi connection , I also noticed that items still connected had reverted to connecting at the 2.4 ghz I had nothing connected at 5ghz , after switching the router on and off and turning the WiFi on and off everything seemed to connect back to 5 and 6 ghz , something in the update I think.

Is anyone else having issues with WiFi 7 Router loosing connections currently??

Having been with Wifi 7 for a while (3+ Months) over the last couple of weeks I am experiencing various items that are connected to my WiFi losing connection, now normally I would look at the specific device but as this is happening over a range of different devices the only thing linking them is my Router.

Systems affected are:

Smart WiFi hub (I had big issues setting this up when I moved to WiFi 7 - I have another post on that)

Green Feathers Outdoor Camera

Shelly Plugs (Some not all of my home)

Samsung TV (x2)

I cannot even say it is becuase of the range / signal, the one of the TV's is in the same room as the router as are some of the Shelly Plugs.

I reset the router and things reconnect, but then drop out again later.

Any ideas - whilst I don't want to blame WiFi 7 it seems to be the thing at the centre of all my issues.

My firmware is r2.64.7-R-1303938-PROD-1 - looks like this is the latest update as I found a post from someone saying they received this yesterday.

I will try turning the router off and on when I finish this post.

I also notice that when I logon to my EE Router (Online not via App) that miraculously most of my WiFi devices have transferred over to Ethernet Connection. Unless the cats / dogs / chickens / fish have been playing with my network and going and plugging everything in the 4 port I have in the loft I don't see this as possible, I dont think they have mastered the loft ladder yet!!)

I have had the same problem since I was unilaterally instructed to "upgrade" my BT Smart Hub 2 to the EE hub.

With the EE hub, WiFi frequently cuts out for a short time - a few seconds or less. This mainly seems to affect my telephone landline, cutting me off in the middle of a conversation, and mobile devices such as my iPhone and iPad.

I need three network extenders to provide wifi throughout my odd-shaped house. Although the extenders are in the same position as the previous BT ones, the EE devices usually show orange rather than "marine", and I no longer have wifi coverage throughout my house. There are dark spots where there is no signal. The speed is usually around 60mbps, which is the limit for my rural area. However, the speed is more frequently well below this than was the case with my BT Router.

I have tried all the usual quick fixes such as restarting router and extenders, but this does not help. It seems that the "upgrade" to the EE router was in fact a retrograde step.
