Configured DDNS when i initially setup the new Smart Hub Pro and it was working fine, updated overnight to firmware version r2.64.3-R-1213091-PROD-1 and now DDNS sits at connecting constantly and doesnt update. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Reset of router has made no difference.

You must have got a very early firmware version if you managed to do anything with DDNS.

The previous router SH+ is recieving an updated firmware adding DDNS back in as per post on this community which is good news, it just looks like they broke it in the Pro router with the latest firmware.

From my own point of view, and I don't have too many requirements from a router, but I have found BT Group routers to have limitations, and have preferred using my own.

Not many of the +Routers are having the new FW pushed out by EE and would be a silly thing for them too do over this period. Quick check on my + now heading to day 53 no changes and long may it continue before they possibly mess it up with a FW push.

Tried that yeah, done a full factory reset of the router just incase and as soon as I enter the DDNS details and save it , it says it's successful however the status just shows "Connecting" constantly with no updates on the NoIP online panel.

Last update was around 4.30pm yesterday when I rebooted my hub. Not sure what update interval we should expect, but if updates get through following reboot or Internet loss/restoration then maybe that suffices (it's the only time that your IP address would change)?

Hmm, i will enable it again and see when the next update gets pushed to the NoIP site, i know the BT Smart hub 2 used to push updates regardless of IP change quite frequently as you could see it in the logs however the logs on the Pro hub are limited and show no DDNS attempts to update 🙂

Thanks, but I still feel that it should work as designed. Hopefully the below will go some way to explain why I need to be able to fix my channels in relation to my device and ZigBee...

ZigBee channels 25-26 aren't immune either, because they can be caught in Wi-Fi channel 11's sideband lobe (see Sideband Lobes below). ZigBee channel 26 is usually relatively unaffected by Wi-Fi, but many ZigBee devices do not support it.
