      <title>EE Captive Portal not loading</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I recently bought the £39 for 30 days of Wifi. It worked for a day on my laptop, and then stopped working afterwards. Every other device I’ve tried using has worked. Essentially, I connect to the Wifi, and it doesn’t redirect me to the log in page, nor does it give me the option to be redirected there. When I try to use the browser, I’m registered as not having any Wifi, and therefore can’t search anything as it claims I’m not connected to the internet. I tried using the mobile data from my phone, and then using the redirect suggested on the website, logged in, disconnected from the Wifi I was using and logged into EE - still no Wifi. Again, everything else works just fine, excluding my laptop.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Asking around on other online forums, I was told that whilst I have an IP, for some reason the Captive Portal isn’t loading.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If anyone knows how to help, please do. I won’t have Wifi for a month, and £39 is a lot of money. Thank you!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;These are the steps to connect to the Hotspot.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;First, connect to the EE WiFi network.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A EE WiFi SSID (network name) will appear in your device's available wireless networks list when you're in range of a hotspot. You can find your nearest hotspot &lt;A href="https://ee-wifi.ee.co.uk/public/ee/find/index.htm" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;U&gt;here&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On your &lt;STRONG&gt;mobile device&lt;/STRONG&gt;:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Select the Settings icon on your device&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Select WiFi (or Wireless &amp;amp; Networks) from the Settings menu&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure WiFi is turned on&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;From the list of available networks choose EE WiFi&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Once connected, you are on the EE WiFi network&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On your &lt;STRONG&gt;desktop&lt;/STRONG&gt;: click the wireless icon at the bottom right of the screen and select EE WiFi from the drop-down menu.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Secondly, once connected to the EE WiFi network, you're ready to login to your closest EE WiFi hotspot and start using the internet. To login to a hotspot:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Once you join the EE WiFi network (steps above), a browser window will appear. If it doesn't, open your browser and type '&lt;A href="https://ee-wifi.ee.co.uk/public/ee" target="_blank"&gt;https://ee-wifi.ee.co.uk/public/ee&lt;/A&gt;' into your browser's address bar.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you're an existing customer with an access account click the 'log in now' button and you'll be presented with 4 options in the drop down menu.&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;EE Broadband account&lt;/STRONG&gt; — Use this if you are a new EE Broadband customer&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;EE WiFi Voucher account&lt;/STRONG&gt; — Use this if you're an existing EE WiFi voucher customer&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;BT Broadband account&lt;/STRONG&gt; — Use this if you're an existing BT Broadband customer&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;BT Business Broadband account&lt;/STRONG&gt; — Use this if you're an existing BT Business Broadband customer&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You are now online and can start browsing.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On desktop or tablet devices, a new web browser window may open confirming you're connected. Minimise, rather than close, the web browser window - now you're ready to browse the internet.&lt;/P&gt;

WHICH DOESN’T LOAD.&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Sometimes, the login page appears but after I login, I still don’t have an internet connection.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;I login, it says “You are Connected”but I can’t load anything. My laptop WiFi icon still says “Action Needed” but the login page doesn’t load when I click on “Action Needed”. I love it when you pay for a service, and it isn’t delivered.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, I notice that if I wanted to purchase another 30 days pass… on top of the one I already have… that loads&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;perfectly&lt;/EM&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Again, I think it stems from the root problem of EE being garbage. I’ve never had this problem before on any other network, ever.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This link should be working for you, could you try clearing cookies and cache and deleting any saved webpage you may have for the EE WiFi access page. If you try and access the &lt;A href="https://ee-wifi.ee.co.uk/public/ee/index.htm" target="_blank"&gt;Get public WiFi access | Find WiFi hotspots &lt;/A&gt;page again does this open for you?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Neil,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I tried this and have had exactly the same issues, I can connect on my Laptop but not on an iPhone or iPad.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I see the hotspot and connect; however it says there is no internet, I try to put the URL into Safari to login however it tells me I am not connected to load the page so I have no option to login.&amp;nbsp; I have tried on 2 different hotspots and with 3 different Apple devices, all with no success; but can connect on my Windows laptop.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I called yesterday but haven't heard back with a resolution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Have you tried clearing the cookies and cache from Safari and if that does not work, trying to install a separate browser such as Chrome to see if that loads the page ok?&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The &lt;A href="https://ee-wifi.ee.co.uk/public/ee/contact/index.htm" target="_blank"&gt;EE WiFi team&lt;/A&gt; are definitely the best team to contact if the issue is still going on, so I would give them another ring or e-mail if you have not heard from them.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Alex&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks Alex,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I did try calling and spoke to your colleague, who didn't have a solution and advised that there was nothing more he could do other than tell me to 'keep trying' to open the web page (I've tried hundreds of times over the past few days!) - he then put the phone down on me when I asked for further investigation - it's obviously a common problem that needs to be resolved.&amp;nbsp; It wasn't an issue previously with BT as I used the BT App which logged me in.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would you please be able to help me?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks ,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Claire.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
