I only switched from BT to EE last week. Got everything set up and was fine until yesterday.

My pc, keeps switching from 5ghz to the 24.ghz after a few minutes. I have set the wifi adapter to prefer the 5ghz as people have mentioned but it keeps doing it. Never had this issue with my BT router.

In the setting for the wifi no where can i see to tell it to keep this device on 5ghz. Anyone got any ideas?

You could just put the BT one back on.

Your PC is just choosing the strongest signal, and the 5Ghz signal is just a kittle far away from the PC.

Assume you have went looked at any driver for the device and also trolled the NIC side for help regarding the issue. As @Mustrum points out, you can always put the old gear back.

You may wish to look and post type/detail/driver for the wi-fi NIC that you have installed. The forum is not a service support but we do try to aide if possible.

How far apart are the router and PC?

What issues are you having if it switches to 2.4?

Are you able to run an ethernet cable between router and PC?

The 210 if you have issues search for problems with the nic card or in the PC that you are using. Good luck with it.👍
