I have the old white Smart hub and extender discs. My Ring camera connects to the nearest disc (about three metres away) and gets a good strong signal. By the next day the signal is weak as it has connected back to the router which is at the other end of the house. A reboot of the camera reconnects to the disc, but the process repeats.

Does anyone know whether there is a way to force the camera to only connect to the disc?

The Ring camera app tells me signal strength. This is when connected to disc.

Since my last reply, the camera has disconnected from the disc and now linked to the router.

Just post your 2 RSSI values, if the camera decides it wants to go to the router it will, reset of the ring sends it to the lowest but there is no guarantee were it decides to jump too, your at least lucky it gets a connection.

Updating the firmware on your Ring Video Doorbell 3
