Wifi Enhancer on EE app not showing

Hello,

Just had EE Busiest bundle installed yesterday morning.

My problem is with the ‘Wifi Enhancer’ on the App that allows Game mode and work mode. I had it for 2-3 hours and then opened up the app later in the day and it’s not showing as an option to select anymore. This has been like this for the last 24 hours.

Mega frustrating as that’s a key reason why I purchased this package. I want to be able to turn it on for gaming however it’s not even there to press anymore.

I’ve tried - turning hub off and on , logging out of app, deleting the app. None of these things have worked. I can see parental controls but nothing to show the wifi enhancer settings.

Photos attached show that it’s part of my plan and how it doesn’t show on my app

also have this. was on the app earlier and now disappeared 🙂 1.6gb busy home bundle first day going well

@Sibs7 Try this

1) Connect the enhancer to the hub using the Ethernet cable and switch it on

2) Wait for the solid Aqua light

3) Open the app find the extender and check the firmware version matches that of your hub, if not leave it for an hour or so.

4) Once the Firmware matches that of the hub unplug the ethernet cable and wait for the Aqua light to stop flashing and leave it for a few minutes.

5) Switch off extender and then the hub.

6) Switch the hub back on and wait for the solid Aqua light

7) Position the Extender where you want it and switch it on and wait for the solid Aqua light

@Sibs7 If your software is not working in the Wi-Fi Enhancer function mode, then you will need to contact EE CS to see what is going on, it has been withdrawn from view a couple of times now as posted on the Forum as non functional or not working, so fighting with the app is going to get you nowhere quickly.
