Hi

I wanted to try out guest WiFi on smart hub plus. All worked fine but the SSID is still enabled even after disabling the guest WiFi feature.

EE app says it is disabled, as does the hub manager.

Anyone else had this?

Addition : it is only active in 5GHz channel. (Not 2.4 GHz)

Thanks

I checked the uptime on the hub and it matched the time I disabled guest WiFi.

I'll give it another reboot today and see what happens.

What happens if you re-enable, wait 5-10 mins and then disable again?

I'm not sure the hub should have restarted when you originally disabled it. I'd expect the Wi-Fi interface to go down/come back up but not for the hub to reboot to the extend that it resets the uptime timer 🤔

Makes me think that something crashed part way through when you first tried turning the feature off.
