Broadband WiFi Controls: Safe Search - Toggle

I have spoken with multiple guides both over the phone and in store to see what the Safe Search toggle is about in the WiFi Controls on the My EE App.

When I attempt to turn it on, it loads for a minute, then appears showing as turned off. It does not stay on and I have no clue what it does.

Please may someone let me know what it does and/or how to turn it on? Thank you!

Thanks for coming to the community.

Our EE Smart Hub With WiFi Controls page, has information on WiFi controls and what you can do in the app.

Can you access all other features in the app including Parental Controls?

What did our guides advise when you called and visited the store to get this looked into?

The Guides didn’t really know what the feature was, or why it was not working.

I have escalated this to the complaints team so I can try and get an answer. They said they would have a look into, and asked that I make a post here to see if anyone has any advice.

Have you got New EE broadband? If so, do your WiFi Controls look the same as mine, and does your Safe Search toggle work? Thanks!
