Hi,

I placed an order on October 12, 2024, and I’ve been waiting for an update regarding the wayleave document. Without this document being signed, the work cannot be completed.

I’ve been facing delays, and the installation has now been pushed to February 6th due to the wayleave still not being signed. I’m unsure who needs to sign it and would appreciate any help or information on the delay and what I need to do next.

Could anyone assist with this? Thank you.

Presumably to close a public road so that it can be dug up, or some kind of access that requires permission from the council?

The wayleave document is required for dig work outside the property it’s not in the car park it’s outside car park but Openreach is not telling me who needs to sign it and I was told it was sent out on the 19th November but I have not received it they have worked they before as I noticed that they dig in the car park for new phone line wires to be connected if someone apply for broadband as they left the wire on the floor cross the car park and there is a patch on the floor next to the wall like a square so they must of got permission to do that but when it came for mine to be done they are requesting the wayleave document

We may get more of an idea if you post the results of the BTW DSL checker, making sure you hide any personal information. If you still have a phone line enter that, otherwise use the address version. https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

PS use a laptop/PC so you post the desktop version and post the whole table.

OK, the more you say and don't answer my questions, the more concerned I am getting.

Is this a new block of flats, or an older building converted to flats?

Either way if you are not finding your flat number in the checker the less likley it is you will ever get a service.

If the checker does not have your flat number it would mean that the builder/landlord/developer has not registered the change with the Post Office address database.
