Changing from old provider to EE

Hi I recently changed from Sky to EE. The salesman who came to my door told me EE do all the work for you & everything would be transferred. I have just found out this is not the case & still have a Sky account too, owing over £200. Did anyone else get this false advice from salesman from EE?

@Ails17051 : EE will pay up to £300 of your Early Cancellation Fees upon sight of your previous ISP's bill showing them. You can claim this online @ Switch Broadband to EE and we'll pay your leaving fee.

Hi,

I changed from Sky to EE and was told EE would sort everything. They have cancelled my Sky Broadband, but I have just been charged for Sky TV.

@JDS25 : They don't pay your usage bills of course but you can claim back up to £300 of exit fees for BB and phone but not TV.

@JDS25 TV is down to you to cancel with Sky, they require you to give them 30 day's notice.

Many thanks for clearing that up.

Although I've had enough messages and calls from Sky in the past few weeks with tempting offers to go back, so they must be aware.

@JDS25 They will be aware of the Broadband / Landline switch, TV is a separate, think also the sky tv works on any broadband supplier, not sure if you settled on EE TV with your package. Hope you get it all sorted out, sky sure wont help you out, and EE will look to get out off there end.
