topic Returning Equipment in Broadband & Landline

Hello,

I was recently advised I could try the new wifi 7 hub to see if that resolves the ongoing broadband issues we've been having. They said I could try it for 14 days and return for free if it doesn't fix the issue or keep it added to the plan for £10 a month.

Long story short it didnt fix the issue but I noticed when I was returning the kit it said if I didn't return it I would have to pay a one off fee of £50. I was wondering could I pay this £50 and keep the equipment and continue to use it as long as I remain with EE broadband services, instead of paying £10 a month? Or do they ban the equipment etc?
