Mine was even more seamless

I use my own router and WAP and the connection never dropped, IP number just stayed the same during switchover day.

The only difference I have noticed is I am paying £13/mnth less 🙂

Hi folks.

Should I expect a seamless change over as the 'juice' should already be there as currently fttp, i.e. no drops, etc.

Only mess up so far is lack of information on keeping home number on changeover.

Exactly my situation. Existing BT Halo 3 customer on Fibre 900, tho no landline.

Had lots of issues overall but the fibre connection itself wasn't one. Was sent a new EE Smart Hub + which I believe supports IPv6, unlike my previous BT fibre hub. Was just plug into the existing ONT socket and to power, and away i went.

Getting full 900 speedtesting to the router, and faster in the house over wifi. Better coverage too. Rock solid.

Good luck.

As @Minkey1 said, as you’re already on FTTP, all you need to swap the hubs over, let the EE hub boot up, and update, which can take up to 10mins or so.
And you’re good to go.
