Slow speed from EE (not very) Smarthub Router

EE say I am recieving 900Mbps TO the router, but from the router I'm lucky to recieve 300Mbps through the ethernet, Cat6, cable or wi-fi. I have spoken to some very nice people at EE 4 times so far with no result apart from a new router, which gives the same results. Does anyone have any idea of where I can go from here??

Yes, I believe so. It is an intel PC.

Don't you have a model number and or spec sheet ?

What other devices are you using?

@Superman49 Intel make the chip inside the PC. What is the Ethernet port capable of on that PC ? Exactly what model pc is it ? What device are you using to test the WiFi speed? I’m asking this because it’s been tested that you are receiving 900Mb to the router so the issue could be the device/s you are using and not the router or connection and you had a new router and are getting the same results.

The computer is an Intel NUC. Anyway, I think I've cracked it. I went to the Computer Management/Ethernet Connection/Speed & Duplex. This was set to 'Auto Negotiation'. I changed this to 1.0 Mbps Full Duplex and the speed went up to 514. Not 700, but a vast improvement.

@Superman49 Your heading in the right direction anyway, but try some other speed test sites, thinkbroadband.com is good and reliable, and you should be looking at up around the 900 mark Ethernet wise. Testing ALL other devices off is the true test, especially if you can disable your wireless devices you just do not know what is going on in the background.
