Have EE Broadband and tv package. I can download the EE app to my non EE phone but not to my PC. I've just been told by someone on EE's technical support that I will need to pay for EE cyber security to to enable this app to work on a pc. Can someone please confirm this is true.

Hello @kenmay,

Welcome to the EE Community

There are a few different apps which may be causing some confusion here.

The EE app is available for Android and IOS devices and is used to manage your EE account. To manage your EE account whilst on your PC you can login to the EE website at ee.co.uk and hit the login button in the top right. It will be the same e-mail and password you use to login to the app.

The EETV app for watching your TV product on other devices, but it is not available on PC, instead on PC you ca login and watch on the webplayer here https://player.ee.co.uk/#/home You can see which devices the EETV app is available on detailed on this page About the EE TV App and Web Player | TV and Sport Help | EE

The Cyber Security app is a separate app which is a separate product we offer which can be used to help monitor your devices, including your PC. My apologies for any confusion that has been caused.

Alex

@kenmay EE currently do NOT have an app that runs on any windows style platform by default. You could use a win/android application to run the android app, but those can be fraught with difficulties and you really do not gain anything. If you wish to have just some basic control over the EE router then use the hub manager web interface set your browser on http://192.168.1.254 and go from there.
