Well, thanks for replying Mustrum, but 'most of the time all is well' is still a bit ambiguous. What about the times when "all is not well"??

I don't really understand why there isn't a simple answer to this question? If I disconnect my Smart Hub Plus router, will it reconnect okay when I power it on again?

Probably a daft question, but the engineer just installed my Smart Hub Plus on the living room floor, so I want to move it to somwhere safer. Will there be any problems in unplugging it for a few minutes or will this cause the entire internet to collapse?

The Internet will go down when you unplug it obviously, but it should come back up once powered back on.

Thanks Bob, 'should' come back on ? It's that uncertainty which made me ask the question first.

But like your toaster, one day it may develop a fault.

Thanks again. I really appreciate the response, but my toaster isn't connected to the internet (well, not yet), so not too sure about your comparison? Will is just simply reconnect up?

Has no-one disconnected and reconnected their Smart Hub Plus?

The answer is yes, it is that simple. Turn it off, move it, turn it back on, it will just go back to how it was before turning off.

its fine, stop stressing.

Nobody can guarantee that your BB connection isn't down at the mo' you switch your SH+ on. There's always a v. small possibility (s**t happens) but even if it is it would still have been down while you didn't touch the SH+ on the living room floor. Same result!
