topic EE Broadband in Broadband & Landline

Hi Guys, I know this is a topic that's discussed alot on here, but its beyond annoying now.

In November 2023, we switched from BT to EEs 1.6gb package.

Everything was working perfectly until around January 2024, where the speeds dropped and the WiFi Controls stopped working. (EE is still advertising online and on TV about this amazing perk, that does Not work).

In November Everything was fine, WiFi controls worked, got good speeds wireless and wired etc. Now I'm getting 1gb wired And max 300mbps wireless. We've contacted EE about this and time and time again we get "We're working to resolve this issue, we appreciate your patience". I'd believe this, only its taken them 9 months to fix something that I thinks worked once or twice (and even then it hardly worked).

When I try to use WiFi controls, the app says "error, this page cannot be loaded" And doesnt work. The app itself is hardly functional, But i suppose that's what has to happen if EEs working on it, right?

I'm wondering now if a mesh wifi system would fix any of these problems, and if it'd replace my current router, and give me good speed and a decent user interface.

If so, Could someone point me in the right direction for this?

Thanks for reading.

There is more to getting high speed, but only you know what you have done.
