EE use the same lines as PN, so all you have done is move to another supplier with a line fault.

Although the chart shows FTCC not available, it does show SOGEA available, which is the same thing, but without a telephone service.

The old telephone service has not been available to new users/those changing suppliers since last September.

You need to give customer services a call, and stop assuming things magically fix if you do nothing.

Think I should start when the problem started...

I was with PlusNet with part fibre (FTTC) broadband when on 10/11 July overnight, my router was flashing orange, hoping it was just a temporary issue which it wasn't, I turned it off and used EE wifi hotspot for my pc...tried turning it on once a week and left overnight to no avail....

So thinking that PlusNet has gone down the pan, I signed up for part fibre (FTTC) broadband with EE, router came a few days ago and activation day is today (7th Oct)…

So turned it on and waited for it to show I'm connected, but had a sinking feeling I was going to get flashing orange lights like I did with PlusNet, and yep, its flashing orange..

Ran a EE check and it says need to send a engineer to home, but I don't think that is needed, I ran a bt check for the street cabinet to my address which I only found out I could do on this forum today, I have included the results of the check, and if you look under the headline "WBC FTTC Availabilty" it shows four lines of "Unavailable"

So am I right I been disconnect from the cabinet?

I have been online since the days of 56k modems, so usually been tech savvy, but fallen behind a bit with latest tech, but not that much!

So can anyone confirm my suspicions?
Thank You

screenshot
