Upgrade to 1.6gbps

Have seen multiple posts about this from the past but nothing as of recent, unless im mistaken in which case i do apologise.

Is there still no word on when an upgrade to 1.6gbps is available? I know the team in Cardiff (Next gen offline team) were hard at work implementing the pilot system into the existing sales system, last time i spoke to someone directly on that team they advised that they had a couple customers successfully upgrade and we're basing those case experiences to develop out a pathway for the upgrade to happen. Now that ive seen the new router as well that was mentioned on the call is coming with 4 2.5gbps lan ports on the back, im expecting that the upgrade is very soon to follow?

Just wondering whats on the murmuring line if anything 🙂

i upgradedfrom bt to ee 1.6Gbps back in March and know of others round here who have had it a wgile also.

@cliffy37 that does not really help, I beleive the OP is an EE legacy customer, and for some reason there seems to be a delay in legacy customers being able to upgrade.

@kazak-bg I guess you could see if the option is available on MYEE, or give the next Gen team a call - they don't seem very proacyive in announcing plans.

Yeh ive had no luck myself upgrading at all, ive been moved over from BT to New EE, i dont seem to get put through to the next gen team anymore which is annoying. I was having a discussion with another on this forum who was given a ballpark date of January
