EE app Wi-Fi Controls not working

There are countless posts on this forum relating to the EE app where the problem is that Wi-Fi Controls cannot be setup. I have looked at many of them, most of the recent ones (September 2024) but the common theme is there appears to be no solution. Having just been moved from BT to EE Broadband I have been trying to setup Wi-Fi controls but I get the continual message of "Pairing to your Hub". Wi-Fi controls worked okay in the BT app. Is there a solution out there?

@Johned2 At present there is no solution and if you didn’t notice all the people reporting this issue are those who came over from BT to EE, I personally don’t have this issue but I didn’t move over from BT to EE I was already a EE BB customer.

But just to check you are using the EE app not the EE home app ?

I am using EE: Game, Home, Work & Learn version 5.46.0

Are you still having this issue? I have upgraded and stayed EE and not getting the Wi-Fi controls working. I've forgotten the network and reconnect using the "Set up Wi-Fi Controls" process.

@B_Boyle92 What EE Router do you have, and which app are you also trying to use?

The most recent hub and most recent version of My EE App. All updates installed, reset the router, uninstalled and reinstalled the My EE App.

@B_Boyle92 You would be advisable to have a look at your EE ID to see that your account looks ok.
