I have a BT smart hub 2 and billed by EE i need to switch off the web protect, my Q is can the EE app be paired with the BT smart hub?

Did you retain your BT hub as part of an account change over to EE? If so, then I believe you should be able to pair the hub with the app; you'll just have a slimmer set of controls versus the newer hubs.

@Ashinyhelllmet You can also see if your MyBT still has control of the BT Smarthub2 also. EE app has some reported hit/miss with its control of the BT router... Do remember that a OP posted EE app would not allow switch settings to change, that was a good few months ago though.
