My new EE Smart Hub Pro arrived yesterday. Out of the box, it is so much better than Smart Hub Plus. There are three things I found so far better.

Faster setup
Dynamic DNS (But you still can't change primary or secondary DNS itself)
DV headset pair so much faster to the hub The only thing I would like to come back and think about is that a lot of people are the same let us change primary or secondary DNS to DNS that works like 8.8.8.8 (google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare), But the only thing that still doesn't work UPnP as Xbox one S still cant UPnP it did work back in smart hub 2 day xbox

@UkzVortex98 UPnP is not the get out of jail card, when it does not work then you need to get a work around!

It all way 100% of the time works fine on Hub 6, Smart Hub, and smart Hub 2 and work fine on Netgear RAX80 only two hub that it never works with smart Hub plus and now pro

@UkzVortex98 Becomes simple then, use a router were it works to your requirements. Seen from your screen capture change DNS does it work?

Hi - Can you confirm if DYDNS accounts work with new Pro routers. As I have been provided with a smart hub Plus which does not meet my current needs as their is no way to add my dydns account.

@floyd73 Router is so new, and not filtered through to all the user's, but due to hit some any day soon, may find one who uses the feature, and will test and report back, many are using there own routers for similar reasons apart from the higher speeds also.👍

Only thing for you to watch out for at present, DV if using, and wither MyBT app or the EE app for use on the BT router, but pesonally would leave well alone and not mess about with it to much...

Also, no backup restore feature, or DV backup few downsides to the EE Smarthub+ at present.

Hi have a question , this upnp thing I noticed the other day. I tried to log onto black ops 6 on Xbox series x and it kept failing I have the ee smart hub plus and getting it changed to the pro, from reading this the Xbox will still not connect ? I can use my phone to hotspot my Xbox and bt used to work fine. Is there something with ee that’s stopping it from connecting ?
