I have tried all the steps. The TV can connect to my hotspot no problem. Turned off 5GHz so only 2.4 still no luck. TV is the Samsung Frame located 3m away from the router.
Was working fine with my previous provider. I don’t know what the issue is here but it’s frustrating the hell out of me.
Samsung have been through troubleshooting and said the problem is with your SP.
Not a great start to my journey with EE. Had no end of problems.
im hoping someone can give me the answer I need.

Have you tried manually connecting to router by WiFi? You will need to supply to the TV the router's SSID & WiFi pwd.

You will first need to access your router admin page, type 192.168.1.254 in the browser address bar. Login using the admin details on your router or the keep me card.

From there within settings look for the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz band, some devices will have a better chance connecting on 2.4Ghz so try disabling the 5Ghz and see if the TV then is able to find and connect to the router. Worth trying the other way around as well if 2.4Ghz does not change the result.

I would recommend following all the steps on this guide from Samsung for further help
How to troubleshoot internet connectivity for Samsung TV | Samsung UK

Alex

Have you been able to test with a wired connection between router and TV?

If you have the security set to WPA3 which you should be able to see in the admin page, your TV may not be compatible with this. You should be able to change this to WPA2 or other options to see if the TV is then able to connect.

Alex
