I am an EE broadband customer and when I try to log in to WiFi hotspots whilst out it just doesn't happen and reverts back to the login page.

User name and password are both correct but it never wants to actually work ?????

Then you're legacy & can't use it for free.

See Help with EE WiFi :

Most new EE Broadband and BT Broadband customers are automatically registered for EE WiFi, unless you've opted out. You can get online at an EE WiFi hotspot using your EE ID or BT ID and password.

N.B. New BB only.
