topic EE and BT in Broadband & Landline

I moved from o2 to EE some time ago with my joint mobile contract. On a further visit to the local store i was told they could provide me with my broadband and tv cheaper than Sky so I switched. I am now paying £93 per month for 2 mobile accounts, my Broadband and my TV Box but NO LANDLINE. However, I am still being charged £65 per month by BT on top of my EE charges. Is that correct?

You also threw BT into the mix with no other explanation?

Hi Jim, thanks for the reply. So I was with EE for my mobile contracts for a period of years. Last year I went into the shop for an upgrade and they managed to sell me a package that included my broadband, my TV box as well as my mobile phone contracts but we didn't want a landline. I believed that the price I was to pay was £93 per month inclusive. However, some months into the contract I received communication from BT advising me that I wasn't paying for my landline (even though I don't have a phone or number) and they subsequently began to charge me £65 per month just for using the line for my broadband (I guess!). I have been back into the EE shop but they were less than helpful saying I needed to take it up with BT! My view is that my contract is with EE and therefore surely THEY should resolve it or at least explain to me why I am now pay £155 for my Broadband, TV and mobile phones!

My understanding is that BT is charging me to allow EE to use their landline for my broadband as we don't have a landline phone!

Cannot see why BT would want to charge you for something unless they assume it is live for you to use.... When you called BT what did they say with regards to billing you?
