Has anyone else lost access to TNT Ultimate after being switched from BT to EE

After being switched from BT to EE broadband, despite previously being able to access TNT Ultimate with BT I am being told that I cannot get high enough speed to access to my address, which is obviously untrue as I had it before.

@Jennyb49 : Which EE BB plan are you on? What EE router do you have?

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

With BT it was Smart hub 2 and Full Fibre2. With EE it’s the same hub and Fibre 50 all rounder

I believe with EE you do not get the HD channels when you are on the lowest Fibre (FTTC) package.

@Jennyb49 Think you would have to up the package speed to at least Fibre 67, that may qualify but you would need to find out.

@JimM11 : Not even Fibre 67 will do it. Think you have to be above the 80 Meg limit of VDSL & almost certainly on Full Fibre (FTTP).

@XRaySpeX Know the 67 does not leave much headroom for much of anything else, but Fibre 50 isn't going to cut it for sure. and does sound like OP has been downgraded speed wise by who's choice!

It’s my friend and he wanted to upgrade his BT box. He was told that this was the best package for him and he would be able to get everything he had before which included TNT ultimate on Full fibre 2. He was also told it would be via EE rather than BT and his landline would become digital. They are now telling him that he cannot get the speed into his premises to support TNT ultimate, but that’s obviously untrue because he could access it previously.
