The bundle allowance covers calls to 01, 02 & 03 landlines, and 07x prefixed mobiles.

If you have bills charging you for any of these calls, when you had a bundle allowance covering them and were in the UK when you dialled them, that sounds like a clear billing issue to me.

For the data, Android & Apple phones have an inbuilt data counter which itemises usage app-by-app. Compare that counter against the bill and make sure the usage broadly correlates.

I’ve recently added another phone onto my account for my grandson. The contract was for unlimited minutes, texts and data, but there’s current bill has £25 extra added for out of allowance calls. Most of these calls were to myself, in the uk and my mobile is also an EE one. His data has also gone. I can’t understand why we’re getting the extra charges. Can anyone explain?

In addition to the above, I would also advise adding a spend cap in the interim if you are worried about the additional charges.

Welcome to the Community!

It might be worth speaking with our team, so they can take a look into these charges for you, and also make sure your grandson's line is sert up o he can avoid adding any accidental charges.
