I believe I was mis sold a like for like contract moving from EE to BT, no roaming was added on the mobile or told that following month the price would go up 30%, and chargeable Add On's put on without consent. All so BT are still invoicing me for my closed account, sorry just trying to save someone else from this torturous experience. Lovely very helpful staff both at BT and EE, however, I so much regret letting myself be scammed in this way.

@Victim2 , @Chris_B is right, it is £1.50 per line, depending when you took out your plan, out of bundle charges and selected and-ons is 5%.

"Providers must tell customers about any price rises before they agree to a contract", can't recall this been said before I was stitched up, however, why would they? You have to be deceitful to meet sales targets, the beauty of private industry. It is just shame that there has to be victims along the way.

Welcome to the community.

If you took the contract out over the phone, the price rise information is given as part of the sales scripts, asking you to tick a box or confirm verbally that you understand. A confirmation email or letter is then sent that also explains it.

If you don't think it was mentioned, I recommend speaking with our customer service team and they'll be able to look into it for you.
