Yeah there's a known fault and it's taking a lot longer to fix than expected apparently

No network gurantees 24/7/365 100% uptime in a particular area, but is there a recognised network fault in your locality, showing on the status board? ("Check service status" on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker )

Definitely an issue with the area, it's all anyone can talk about at the minute.

FYI you have a short time after posting to edit, negating the need for multiple short replies.

The vast majority of local outages are resolved quite promptly, but sometimes when there are third party issues outside EE's direct control - these are a significant cause when losses of service become protracted. It's never intentional.

You can always use WiFi-calling to continue using your phone indoors anytime there's a coverage issue - whether the reason is lack of coverage, or a fault. EE-CS should be your point-of-contact for all account-specific issues.
