topic Cancelling main phone plan when you have a paired watch plan in Contracts & Billing

Hi,

My phone is out of contract and has been for a long time, I'm wanting to cancel my phone contract, but I have a paired watch plan that still has 18 months on it. Can I cancel my main line but leave my watch plan running?

From what I understand I won't be able to use it for calls or texts but I don't anyway 🤷

I'm just hoping not to have to pay a massive cancellation charge

Hi @Cmt1995

Thanks for coming to the community.

You are spot on, the watch won't work away from the phone if you do cancel the phone contract.

I have seen instances in the past when a watch has been left on a bill by itself, but has then been cancelled as there wasn't a phone with it.

The best thing I can suggest would be to speak to our customer services guides so they can check exactly what would happen when you cancel the phone plan.
