thy said that when they sent something by post, a bill or something which is strange again as it's a direct debate why should they send anything by post, but the point is that they might have sent it to the wrong address and the person called them that this bill isn't theirs, they said that that's why they closed it down. Now my point is that why would you send anything by post and if you do so then why didn't you sent it to my address? Why did you send it someone else's address and now that I want to talk to the right person to re-activate my account you guys are sending me to EE shops. I have been to different EE shops 4 times now on their instructions and I have proven my ID 3 times. Whenever I go to the shop, they say that you have to call the customer service, we can't do anything about it and whenever I call the customer service they send me to the EE shop with a new demand. In short the EE customer service is pathetic. When it comes to advertisement, they say that we cover half of UK, you should be thankful to half of the UK because they are using your service, I think less people might have encountered issues that's because if more people starts to face issues I am pretty sure that you guys won't be able to handle it and you guys can at least make their lives miserable.

Sorry to hear that. Whatever you do, do not pay the bills as they will use that as proof you took out a contract. @Mil3n3 has started a group to report the issue, I think there is a Facebook group and the press are involved.

the only way I got EE to stop was by getting my MP involved. I would write to all your representatives and consumer rights groups. EE have deliberately lax ID checks to get more customers, and are under no obligation to report ID theft. The only way it will change is if OFCOM do something about it.

Hi

My name is Khizar H., from the past 2 days my phone number, and my contract has been cancelled. When I visited the EE shop they said that it was closed due to a fraudulent activity. I have been using this number normally, paying my bills on time, no issue with my account. I don't know whatsoever and all off a sudden the signals goes off, how can you do that just like that? You guys have just wasted my 3 days till now without any reason and without any notice or email. I want my number back that's why I waited for it for 3 days as I have used it in my university and various study groups, and I am using it as a confirmation snd as a backup everywhere. 07***, this is my number. I want my number back. I am very frustrated now, if I don't get it back in a day or too I'll have to take further action.
