Anytime upgrade

I have anytime upgrade on my account but how soon before the contract ends can I upgrade without having to swap phones? I've got 5 weeks left but want to keep my current phone for my daughter.

@Beetle979 You can upgrade within the standard upgrade period which is 45 days before your minimum term and you don’t have to pay to keep the device. You don’t have to trade in.

The standard upgrade period is now only 30 days before end of term but if you are upgrading from a device plan to SIM-Only you must wait to upgrade until end of term.
