If you have a PAYG SIM you will not be offered any existing cust offers as these are aimed at those that already have a contract with EE but you may get the occasional random short-term PAYG promotional offers.

Hi

I am looking to purchase a PAYG sim only for my mother-in-law and I wondered if after I purchase it would then be able to access the EE existing customer offers on Pay Monthy contracts. E.g. the 24month plan with 25GB is £16, but comes down to £11.20 with EE existing customer offer. We have 3 other numbers currently with Vodafone and the signal used to be great, but recently its been awful. Which is why I am looking to move them. Everything would be in my name so all the contracts, numbers etc would be under one account.

Thanks, Paul

Hi

PAYG is a pre-payment top-up method that has no minimum-term contract and only allows you to spend upto your available credit.

SIM-only is a pay-monthly contract based service that's supplied on an airtime-only basis without a phone.

The two are fundamentally different payment methods, but a SIM-only is as much a pay-monthly plan as any other. And yes, it would allow you access to the additional line promotions.
