Hi guys! I’ve got a question, so I’ve recently passed the credit check for EE broadband and I’m thinking about taking out a phone contract but i don’t know if I’ll be accepted for it? My credit isn’t the best as it is and I’m really surprised I passed it. As online it says EE do a very hard credit check and I passed for the broadband.

Welcome to the community.

There would be a separate credit check for EE Mobile. The only way to know for sure is to try and take a contract out. If you don't think you'll pass, it may be worth waiting a while to build up some good credit.

Do you think it would be better if I paid more upfront to be accepted if I’ve got bad credit?

It may be worth calling and speaking with our sales team, to see if they have any advice.
